I am an American living abroad! I graduated from Brigham Young University Idaho with my Bachelors in Art History and could not make up my mind as to what career I wanted to settle into. So I took the first job out of the States and now I’m in China.

I am currently teaching Conversational English at a Vocational College in Weifang, China.

Passions in life, Traveling, Traveling, Traveling. Oh I like reading too. I can still remember my first big trip, my amazing grandparents took my brothers and me to England during the summer of ‘96. I was eight years old and have never looked at the world the same. We spent the summer visiting relatives and exploring the wonderful sites of Britain, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

I remember on the flight home I vowed to live abroad when I grew up, I knew the world had so much more to offer. So at eight years old I was already thinking about moving out! That is nothing against my parents or family I always knew they would be there waiting when I returned from any trip.

I would not leave the country for another 8 long years. After completing high school I got my real first taste of living abroad, San Miguél de Tucumán, Argentina. As a Rotary exchange student again my eyes where opened to the excitement of becoming a World Citizen.

Leaving the country only gets easier and my whirlwind tour of Europe followed only 3 years after my return from Argentina. I fell in love with Europe and made more promises that at some point I will have an address in Berlin and Paris!

As for now I will have to content my self with my first apartment abroad that is all my own and absolutely wonderful. So although Asia was not on the top of my list I am determined to make the most of the opportunities presented!
