Aunt Danae asked for the views from my apartment and since I finally hung those scrolls I figured I would add those as well.

Across the courtyard are girls dormitories. I was shocked when I was in the kitchen this morning at 6:30 all the girls seemed to be up and walking around. I had been up since 3am because my internal clock is still off. But what college kid gets up at 6am willingly?

I believe these are boys dorms, it extends far down the right. The Building on the left is the Applied Language Department where I will be teaching.  There didn’t seem to be as much activity in these dorms at 6am.

These were the scrolls I found rolled up in a box in the corner. I thought they were beautiful. So now my apartment is not so bare!

There is a larger one on the side wall of my living room but it is of flowers so I didn’t photograph it on principle. But I hung it because the wall was just too bare.

 

 

 

I’m going to the park with Wendy and her Husband this evening so I promise to take pictures of the campus. I will post them later this evening or maybe I’ll leave them for something to do tomorrow morning at 3am when I wake up.
